Richard Anemone is the President and CEO of Behavioral Mental Health Counseling PLLC. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State and is certified as an Anger Management Specialist from the Association for Anger Management Professionals. He has over 20 years experience in the mental health field working with both adults and children with various developmental and/or psychiatric disorders. This experience includes positions within day treatment settings, school settings, residential programs, clinics and hospitals. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. John’s University in 1987. Shortly afterward he began attending C.W. Post College and in 1990 he received his Master of Professional Studies Degree (Applied Psychology). After receiving his masters he began attending Hofstra University and in 1993 he received his Certificate for the Management of non-profit organizations.
